We had some friends over for lunch and made a lovely Eland Sirloin. It was delish. Pierre got the recipe out of a book- Karoo Venison. Our friend from Ireland called it earland- as she cant pronounce eland. I couldn't resist to take some pics of how the dish progressed
And then of course the pud. It was pears cooked in a red wine sauce served on an almond basket with icecream and custard
