Here’s something for Valentine’s Day.
Have you ever fallen out of love with a favorite author? Was the last book you read by the author so bad, you broke up with them and haven’t read their work since? Could they ever lure you back?

Two writers actually
Colin Forbes- his books are soo predicatble- I can guess page for page what the plot is going to be like.
Mary Higgins Clark- by page two I normally have the murderer figured- and I dont like murder mysteries where I can figure it out.

I must say... I agree with your about Mary Higgins Clark.
btw, I've tagged you for a book meme ;)
Page 2? Really? How terribly predictable and sad.

I haven't read either of the authors you've mentioned. But if what you say about Mary Higgins Clark is true, then maybe I'm better off without reading her books.
Happy BTT! And happy Valentine's day! :-)
I've read one Mary Higgins Clark, and I wasn't impressed. Where's the fun in the mystery if there's no mystery?
I feel the same way about MH Clark.
I didn't think of Mary Higgins Clark ... that's a good one. You're so right!
It's been awhile since I've read a Mary Higgins Clark novel, but I do enjoy them as brain candy now and then. I love mysteries, but I often guess who did what early on, and so that has never really bothered me. I enjoy the process of it all more than anything. It's rare that I'm surprised by an ending.
